About Us

Our Story

When we first started, Rocky Mountain Farmstead was just a hope and a dream-often talked about but seemed like an impossible task to make a reality.

Trent is a 4th-generation dairy farmer and has worked hard on the farm his entire life. After serving a mission, getting married to his loving wife, Shailee, and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University, he returned to the farm to carry on the family legacy and do what he has always loved to do. Dairying, Farming, and showing cows.

Farming has not always been easy, and in 2023, after a necessary, unanticipated change in operations, the opportunity to launch Rocky Mountain Farmstead finally presented itself. Very much a blessing in disguise.

Trent and Shailee, along with their amazing four kids and many others, dove into this new adventure, wanting to share that love and passion with the incredible people in our community.

We love cows! We love milk! We take great pride in the products we produce and in their ability to help create a healthy, wholesome lifestyle, pivotal to our well-being today.

Our practices

Our farm operates on a simple, deeply held belief: the best food comes straight from healthy land and happy animals. We prioritize a holistic approach to farming, focusing on regenerative methods that improve our soil and animal health year after year. This involves practices like rotating crops, utilizing natural fertilizers, and feeding our animals a blend of healthy grass, corn, alfalfa, and soy, which in turn produces the rich, nutrient-dense milk and high-quality beef you enjoy. Every procedure we follow is designed to be ethical, sustainable, and transparent.
